External Weather Proofing

Below ground structures that are earth retaining, can be damaged by moisture penetration from the outside or by water under hydrostatic pressure.

ASRS can provide you with an external waterproofing system that will act as a barrier against water ingress and ground gasses such as radon and methane.

Firstly apply a waterproofing render where required and then install a geotextile membrane over the top to allow the water to run down into the land drain then finish it off with another coat of waterproof render if required.

This is one of many variations that can be used for external use and ASRS will be glad help you in designing the correct system to use.

There are also membranes that can be used for draining away water from back filled retaining walls and also higher load bearing or higher drainage capacity works.

To compliment the membranes there are waterproof renders for external use that are quick and easy to apply.

We can also offer a Crystalline waterproofing system that is applied to concrete. In addition to waterproofing the concrete it protects against seawater, wastewater and certain chemicals which makes it ideal to use in water storage tanks, reservoirs and water towers.

Also available is a plugging water sealer that stops fast flowing water in just 30 seconds!! It can be used on masonry, concrete, stone and earthenware.
